Message not being sent on WhatsApp
Published:
Updated:
Occasionally, you may notice a triangle icon appearing next to your message:
This indicates that the message failed to send. There could be various reasons behind this failure. Hovering your mouse over the triangle may reveal an error code. Additionally, you can click on the triangle to view the Meta error code.
Here are some of the most common errors:
1. **Failed Billing:** If your billing for template messages fails, the messages won't be sent.
2.**Missing opt-in.** You must set opt-in in order to initiate a conversation with a contact.
3. **Incorrect Mobile Number:** This is a frequent issue, often occurring when attempting to add an inactive or non-existent mobile number on WhatsApp.
4. **Recipient Blocking:** If the recipient has blocked you from sending messages, your messages will not go through.
